Photo ViyarHolzkant makes made-to-measure fronts for IKEA METOD kitchens and PAX wardrobes: 25 finishes, from melamine to walnut, from €33 per 60 × 80 front incl. VAT, delivery extra. Made in Europe, delivered to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Netherlands in 3 to 7 weeks. The cabinets stay IKEA's; every technical drawing is approved before payment.

What does a front's technical sheet contain?
Sizes are in millimetres, short side then long side. Glass also needs a ratio of 5 to 1 at most. The lead time runs from order to delivery.
Drilling shows who drills the hinge holes on METOD: the factory's IKEA template for laminate and Fenix, our UTRUSTA positions for the others, still to be confirmed with the workshop. On PAX and BESTÅ, drilling is being validated.
Which data is not published yet?
Manufacturing tolerances and fire ratings have not been released by the workshop for every line. We do not invent them: ask for them with your quote, for your project. Dimensioned technical drawings of each front come with the approval.
Questions
How thick are the fronts?
From 18 mm for melamine and veneer to 22 mm for fluted fronts; smooth lacquer is 19 mm, like IKEA's fronts. The table gives every line.
What is the largest front you can make?
It depends on the material: the table gives each line's largest size. Beyond it, a piece is split with a joint or made in another finish.
Where can I find the fire rating of the fronts?
The workshop has not published it for every line yet. Ask for it with your quote: we pass on the board maker's data where it exists.
